How do I apply for funds?

Who is eligible for funding?

To be considered for ADRF funding you must have a primary diagnosis of a substance use disorder verified by a qualified medical professional or provider related to alcohol or drugs; have income below 400% poverty level; be 18 years or older; reside in the United States; have access to an internet capable device; not owe any outstanding debts related to previous treatments funded by ADRF; not seek reimbursement through any other means while waiting on an ADRF decision; agree to provide timely updates regarding progress throughout the process; agree to allow ADRF staff contact providers associated with your treatment plan(s).

Are there specific restrictions about how I can use the funds?

Yes, all approved requests must be used within 6 months from date of approval for purpose specified on the initial request form only and cannot exceed limits outlined during initial review process without prior approval from ADRF staff. Approved requests may only be used toward direct expenses associated with said purpose (no cash back) unless otherwise discussed with an ADRF board member prior to using funds.Any unused funds must be returned no later than 30 days after completion of initial request period end date.
